Mr. Hao Lu is a professionally trained dancer, choreographer, and the founder of Hao Dance Arts. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Classical Dance from the prestigious Shanghai Theatre Academy – College of Dance, one of China’s top three institutions for professional dance education.

Mr. Lu began his formal training at the age of ten, studying both International Latin and Ballroom dance, and quickly earned recognition by winning championship titles in competitive Sports Dance in China. His broad dance foundation includes Chinese classical, ethnic and folk dance, ballet, modern, and international ballroom—giving him a unique versatility as both performer and educator.

During his time at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, Mr. Lu participated in multiple national-level productions and large-scale televised performances, developing strong skills in stage presentation and choreography. After moving to Chicago, he began teaching at various Chinese schools and local studios, bringing his artistic sensibility and disciplined teaching style to students across age groups.

In January 2018, he founded Hao Dance Arts, with a mission to provide high-quality, structured, and inspiring dance education rooted in both Eastern and Western traditions. His choreography has won multiple regional and national awards, including recognition for excellence in teaching and performance at international competitions such as the Taoli Cup.

As Artistic Director, Mr. Lu is known for his meticulous attention to detail, deep musicality, and ability to craft dance pieces that are elegant, emotionally rich, and technically strong. His classes reflect a balance of discipline and encouragement, emphasizing artistic growth, physical strength, and cultural appreciation.

Mr. Lu continues to mentor dancers at all levels—from young beginners to advanced performers—encouraging them to pursue not only technical excellence but also confidence, creativity, and passion through dance.

吕皓老师为专业舞者、编导及皓舞创始人，毕业于中国顶级院校——上海戏剧学院舞蹈学院中国古典舞专业，并自十岁起接受系统的舞蹈训练。他不仅在中国体育舞蹈（国标舞）比赛中荣获全能冠军，还具备中国古典舞、民族民间舞、芭蕾、现代舞与拉丁摩登舞等多舞种背景，舞蹈基础全面，风格多元。

在校期间，吕老师多次参与央视大型晚会及国家级舞台演出，积累了丰富的舞台经验与编导能力。他舞姿细腻、动作流畅，作品兼具艺术性与舞台张力，深受观众和专业评委好评。

2018年，他在芝加哥北郊创立了皓舞舞蹈艺术学校 Hao Dance Arts，致力于推广高质量、规范化、兼容中西方文化的舞蹈教育。多年来，他编排的舞蹈作品多次荣获地区性与全国性大奖，包括在“桃李杯”等国际舞蹈赛事中荣获优秀教学奖与编导奖。

作为艺术总监，吕老师教学风格严谨又不失温度，注重技术、艺术、情感与文化的融合。他擅长因材施教，善于引导学生在技巧上扎根，在表现力上突破，在艺术审美上不断提升。

吕老师坚信：“舞蹈不只是动作训练，更是心灵、意志与美的共同修炼。”他始终秉持“以学生为本、以舞蹈为桥”的理念，陪伴每一位学员在艺术之路上稳步成长、不断超越。
